This thing is so tightly assembled that it screeches terribly when you try to extend it from its retracted position. The screws holding the joints together are not able to be loosened, so make sure you have some WD40 or silicone spray on hand to mitigate the noise because it is loud as hell. Installation was easy enough and the quality is what you'd expect for what you're paying. But jeez, that screeching will send shivers down your spine.

I needed the magnification for tweezing and putting on makeup - especially eyeliner. The regular mirror side is excellent on the swivel arm to do the back of my hair. It is very nice looking on the wall and fits my needs really well. I am very pleased with the product.

This is something I wish I purchased many years ago. I use this to put on my makeup near a window with natural lighting. I have it at the perfect height since it is wall mountable, and it can easily be pushed out of the way when done. Cleaning is simple with the ease of flipping the mirror and moving the arms with ease. This mirror can be configured to practically any angle you need for the right lighting.

I like the size of it but even with trying to adjust the arms they're very hard to move its sturdy and I like the magnification side

I think this mirror was a great deal. It only took a few minutes to install with the right tools and it may be a bit stiff to move around but you want it to stay put. I don't find that there's a problem with distortion considering how close I need to look when trying to do beauty routines! Definitely recommend.

This is a good quality product however the arm was WAY too tight. I had to take a cover piece off to loosen the screw in order to get it to even move. I also applied some lubricant to the metal on metal parts that move. The mounting screws and anchors are okay but if anything happens to bump up against it, it may come completely out of the wall. Finding a stud in a desired spot would be pure luck. The magnifying mirror is curved and only focuses in the center. Not a horrible problem, just don't look at it when you're drunk!

The product is well built and the mirror section performs as described. But be aware that the pivot points on the arm were very stiff and hard to move about. I thought that it might loosen in what appeared to be a screw. It did not. I ended up spraying it with penetrating oil and now it works perfectly.

It does what it is supposed to do but the quality is nowhere near impressive. I am sure there are better ones out there. The various connectors are poor so that the unit does not swivel easily. It always seems stuck. It looks cheaply made overall.

This mirror is excellent and scary in equal measure. It's great because it can be moved to just about any position that's required and yet fits flat against the wall when not in use. I can't comment on how easy it is to fit as this was done by my bathroom fitter, though he didn't seem to have any issues fixing it.The amazing part is with the 7X magnification. This shows up every blemish on my less than youthful skin and actually has better magnification than the previous supposed 10X magnification mirror this replaced.All in all I'm very pleased with this mirror which is stylish and elegant and provides the perfect finishing touch to my new bathroom.

Nice mirror . I did choose to use longer mounting screws . Also I sprayed hinges with a silicone lubricant before installing mirror just to smooth the action. My wife and I are pleased with the overall quality and function .

Very good quality overall. Solid materials and clean clear mirrors that are distortion free. I was able to install this within 10 minutes and we are extremely satisfied. You may need a second person to assist in positioning the mirror base to make sure you allow for the proper arm swing extension. The only thing I needed to pay extra attention to is the small screw at the six o'clock position of the mirror semi-circle frame. It came loose after a week or two and I removed the screw, put a dab of gorilla glue in the cavity, screwed it back in and voila - secured forever. Highly recommend.

It's not a bad mirror and it was very easy to install. My wife, whom I bought this mirror for, thinks it is OK. When I use it for shaving, the 7x magnification and diameter seem out of proportion to me; too small in diameter, so this is my very personal opinion. Also the arm on this mirror is still very stiff after a month of use, which makes you feel you are going to pull the anchors out of the wall. Also, I wish the arm had been a couple of inches longer to make it more versatile as far as where to install it. Other than that, the construction and quality of materials seem OK, not flimsy. I think four stars is a fair rating.

Ordered the 7x mirror. It came well packaged, was easy to install, and is much sturdier than another vendor's 5x mirror this one replaced. Clear view with no defects, chrome finish is good, and it is all metal. Holds any position and does require a little extra effort to move, but this will likely loosen up over time and with use.

The quality is really good. Joints were stiff as I had read in previous reviews, so before mounting on the wall, I sprayed each connection with WD-40 then worked it in good, problem solved. We will definitely use this a lot. Everything was packaged very well, in perfect condition, impressive!
